The Blue Reef Island Resort is located about 31 miles from Belize City in the island of Ambergris Caye, four miles north of the San Pedro airstrip, and a 15-minute water taxi from San Pedro.Guests fly internationally into Belize City and then should schedule a 15 minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, prior to departing for your trip. Another option is to take a water taxi to San Pedro. Information is available at the airport. Contact the resort to set up water taxi transportation from the San Pedro airstrip. This narrow strip, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, is approximately 25 miles long and was once a part of the Yucatan Peninsula.
